Foil Class at the Tricks and Treats Crop

You can pay for classes here!  (this link will take you to Michelle James Designs)  If you would like to finish reading this post about the class there is another link at the bottom!

Well, I said this Foil class would be up on the blog and Sunday.  I am just making it under the wire.

This class is a technique based class.  I will be showing you a couple of foil techniques for cards and fabric.

Believe Card

For this card we will be using the We R Memory Keepers Heat Pen tool.

The pen is a new tool designed to be used with stencils and the foil.  I created the gold swirls on the background of the card using this tool.  The product shown in the photo above is the starter kit that comes with 20 4x6 sheets of the foil in several colors.  It really is a nifty tool.

Snowflake Decor Pillow

This technique uses the foil and an iron and you won't want to miss it.  The pillow form is not included but the outer "envelope" pillow case will be.  I know... exciting right?

Don't miss out on this great class.  It will be held on Saturday, October 31st at 1:30 pm at the Emmetsburg Catholic Parish Hall.

As with all of the classes, you do not need to be registered for the crop in order to attend the classes.  They are for everyone.

This class will be $15.

In case you missed the other two classes you can read about them by clicking on the name of each class below.

If you would like to sign up and pay with your debit or credit card you can click on the class link below.  (I have all of them set up for debit/credit card if you would like to pay that way for any of the classes.)  When you click this link you will be sent to the Michelle James Designs website/blog.  It is a happy place and you will like it.

Tricks & Treats Crop This Halloween!

Are you ready for another "fang-tastic" Micheggy event? Michelle and Peggy are putting together a delighfully spooky, ghoulishly fun scrapbooking event on October 30th AND 31st! That's right. Friday night and all day Saturday to get your craft on! Here are the details:

Those of you who have attended our events in the past will see a few new things on this list! We are giving you the option of Friday, Saturday, or BOTH, whatever fits your scheduling needs! We are also adding in some goofy stuff like a costume contest on Friday, and Michelle and Peggy are both clearing out their craft rooms and will have LOTS of garage sale items and everyone's favorites...Trick or Treat Grab Bags! We are hoping our friend Debbie from Outlet Store in Estherville will be able to set up a booth as well, and as soon as we get word from her, we will let you know!

We are hosting the event at the Catholic Church's Parish Center, located at 2003 Broadway at the south end of Emmetsburg. Lots of wonderful space, easy entry, and convenient location!

We have more surprises (and lots of prizes!) up our witchy sleeves, so check back for more details, but get your registrations in soon. We do have limited space!

Hope to see you there!

Micheggy
