Our first post. :)

Once upon a time, there were two girls, Michelle and Peggy, who met through the great hobby of papercrafting. Once Michelle finally could remember Peggy's name, they became pals.

Michelle and Peggy worked very well together! Peggy would brainstorm crazy ideas and talk Michelle into trying them, and Michelle would focus the ideas to make them into realities. This pattern of behavior continued for almost four years!

One sunny, but bone-chilling cold January day, Peggy took Michelle out to lunch to brief her on her latest CRAZY idea she created. Michelle listened, prepared to offer up her normal doses of reality, when the strangest thing happened: Michelle and Peggy were no longer separate entities. They had become

MICHEGGY!

This blog will document Micheggy's thoughts, ideas, and realities as this new being navigates the world. What will Micheggy accomplish first? Stay tuned to learn more!

Who is Micheggy?

Micheggy proper noun, slang -The combination name of Michelle James and Peggy Stolley. Often used when referring to both Michelle and Peggy

Michelle James is a former scrapbook store owner, who has moved on to another career, but still has a love for scrapbooking, paper crafting, and card making. Michelle's newest love is digital scrapbooking, where she can sit in front of her laptop, virtually anywhere, and manipulate digital versions of papers, brads, flowers and more to create pages for her treasured photos.

Peggy Stolley currently works as a sales representative for several different scrapbooking companies, but in her former lives she has worked as a retail employee and elementary school teacher. Peggy also loves scrapbooking, paper crafting, and cardmaking, and her passion is altering objects. She finds great pleasure in taking an old brie cheese container or jar of snack mix and turning it into an adorably altered item.

Micheggy has worked together on many projects, their most favorite of which are weekend long crops. Their crops are always full of fun, prizes, ideas, shopping opportunities, and other unique experiences known only to those crop attendees. Micheggy has also collaborated on classes, researching and teaching techniques to fellow paper crafters.
