Moxxie Sneak Peeks

I can't even begin to tell you how awful I feel for my serious lack of participation in the Micheggy blog!  I'll forgive myself and move on, but I just thought I should communicate to you, our faithful readers, that I felt bad.

With that said, let me tell you what I've been doing instead. Aside from pinning a ridiculous amount of stuff on Pinterest, (cough cough---time sucker!) I've also been working at my new job.  Last September, I started my full-time position working for Moxxie as Sales Manager.  I absolutely love it, but it has had quite the learning curve, and I'm now in the midst of the first release time since I took the job, and I'm a bit overwhelmed!  THERE'S SO MUCH TO DO!!!  My list of tasks to complete is large, but manageable, and some things are even kind of fun, so at least it's happy work. :)  We are just now reaching one of the most fun parts, sharing the product.  This is where we get to finally release the images to the consumers and see what you have to say.  I have been posting to the Moxxie blog and Facebook page, but I'm going to post them here for you as well, just in case, for some STRANGE reason, you don't already follow us on our blog or Facebook.  (Btw, feel free to just click those links and start following us.  That would be great!)
The first line we released was called "Child's Play." It has lots of fun, bright colors and designs that focus on outdoor play.  I find it fun and whimsical, but very useful!  What do you think?
I really want a nice, sunny day to go out and play and take lots of pictures so I can use this line.  Lucky for me, we are having an EXTREMELY mild winter, and I can!  Yahoo!!

The next line we released has a very different look to it.  It's much more subdued, with natural colors and elements to give an organic take on spring.  The line is called "Spring Has Sprung," and would be perfect for lots of altered art projects and home decor.  Take a look:

See what I mean?  It's like a chocolately, natural take on Easter and spring, and I hope to make lots of cute projects with it to give away to friends and family.

The third line we released is called "Showstopper." It is so bright and fun I almost can't stand it!  For those of you who know me, I LOVE bright pink. Michelle loves bright green.  This line is perfect for us, so I'll have to get some pictures of Micheggy dancing so we can scrapbook on this!  OMG, now I'm even MORE excited to get my hands on the actual papers!  Here.  This is what I'm talking about:

I'm positively giddy with excitement.  Did I mention the swirls and flourishes?  YUMMY!  I'm sure we'll do some projects with this line, so be on the lookout for it.  :)

Day 3, and 3 releases.  We have 4 more to go, so be sure to check the Facebook page and blog every day to see what's new.  Hopefully, you'll be as excited as I am!

Happy New Year all!  Enjoy!

2012

There are three things that I would like to try for 2012. I found a lot of inspiration for these on Pinterest. If you do not belong to Pinterest and would like an invite let me know!

1. First is a blog post organization sheet. I really need this. I am not sure how long I will stick with it but will give it a good try. I have heard that it takes 30 days to create a habit so, I will try to make filling out this form a habit.

My favorite is "My Blog Topics" printable from perideaudesigns.com. If you search Pinterest for Blog Organization there are several to choose from but this is my favorite because you can enter your title, thoughts and inspiration including websites that inspired the post and Search Engine keywords that you would like to include. There is room for three post ideas on a page. I just wish it would print a little darker.

2. Organizing all of the papers, etc that I need for our home. I know...I am an adult and should have done this a long time ago. I am telling you I need help. Better late than never right? We have them in strange places and I just need to get them all together. I would feel so much better about it. So, again from Pinterest I found this fun little blog, The Nest Effect. She has all sorts of files going. This one is a mail station. So, I want to use the look of hers and just label the files for my use. I thought it would be pretty simple and effective for us.

3. The third thing I would love, love to do is a Project 52 or something similar. One of the digital scrapbooking websites I love to visit is Design House Digital has a challenge called Project 365 (366) for this year. Anyway, the challenge is to take a photo every day then scrap a page each week or month. Now, this is a little ambitious for me. I think taking a couple of pics each week then making a couple of layouts each month would be a good goal. The purpose is to scrap everyday life instead of just major events. Doesn't that sound fun? I thought so. Here is an great, active blog I found. This lady really inspired me to try this. dwquiltart.blogspot.com Check it out! Wow!

What are your goals for 2012? Let's see if we can stick with them together.
